  • Body / Glass: Top Rear Quarter Trim

On the 56 Hawks, which have a chrome trim piece along the top edge of the rear quarter, is the chrome strip held on by bolts or with with clips?

I'm assuming that your talking about the stainless steel trim that goes on top of the rear fenders on 1956 Sky, Power and Flight Hawks?

You might check with Gary Talbert at skyhawkroster@gmail.com. He's a Sky Hawk owner and has formed a register for them.

Yes, "with clips" Try Tom Karkiewicz 574-two ate seven–5834. He has/had 200+ Studebakers many which he parted out and kept those smaller now-hard-to-find parts many others just scrapped.

Remove the trim by lifting from the inner edge and replace by starting the outer edge (assuming that the clips have been installed properly).
