I'm going to list my 259 +.030 pistons on ebay. The rods are still attached. Is this a good idea or should I remove the rods and sell separately? Is their any demand for used rods? Thanks. for your thoughts.

A question on selling pistons with or without rods

Essentially all Studebaker rods are more than fifty years old and well used, but can be remanufactured to better than new. Yes, back in the bad old days, we just thrun 'em back on the crank and away we went. However, today, I make them as good as I can or not at all. We wash, shotblast, check for straight, remove bolts, cut a couple of thou off both the rod and cap, install ARP bolts and nuts, torque, hone the big ends back to round and spec and wash again. Just finished two sets today and have two more to do.
Your opinions may vary.
