If that Autolite distributor number is correct for a 10G-15G you need a part #527341 spark modifier.Frank van Doorn

Frank forgive my ignorance but what is a 10G-15G ? A Studebaker model ID # ? I found that tag on my dizzy that I mentioned on my 52 as IAT 4010. That #527341 is the vac advance I need ? Boy not much information on Goggle about this. I've been at it most of the afternoon trying to figure it out. My car isn't running for crap with a bad vac. advance. eOriginally posted by 41 Frank View PostIf that Autolite distributor number is correct for a 10G-15G you need a part #527341 spark modifier.1942 Packard Clipper Custom Touring Sedan * 1952 Studebaker Champion Regal * 1954 Studebaker Commander Regal Starlight * 1967 Thunderbird Hdtp * 1969 Continental Mark III * 1969 Mercury Marquis convertible * 1972 Buick Riviera * 1973 Continental Mark IV * 1978 Glass Top Lincoln Town Car * 1983 Mercedes 300SD * 1986 Dodge RAM 4WD * 1999 Infiniti Q45

10G to 15 G indicates Champion 1951 thru 54. I may have a new vacuum advance, I'll check in the morning . I have quite a few of them but they are not inventoried and some only have an Autolite # on them and I do not have any way to cross the Studebaker number to the Autolite part #.Frank van Doorn

I would suggest you consider purchasing Studebaker parts and shop manuals, I just gave away a 51 to 54 parts book. I will report back tomorrow whether I find what you need. Glad I was able to help you out in some small way.Originally posted by poweroptions View PostFRANK, thanks for looking I used one of my old Chilton criss cross and see Echlin VC-175 should interchange. I can't find one of them either. OH so close to taking the old girl out on the highway I can taste it.Frank van Doorn

Pat
Today is your lucky day! I found a NOS in the original Autolite box vacuum advance part # IAT 2023 LJ. Contact me by private message or e-mail through the Forum and send me your mailing info and I'll send it to you ASAP as I leave Saturday for Colorado. I will price it by private message to you. OH, I also matched it up with the one on a used '52 Champion distributor I have and it is the same.
Thanks Dwain for that Autolite number!Last edited by 41 Frank; 06-27-2013, 07:40 AM.Frank van Doorn
