    It's a CLK 350.
Mercedes numbers have to do with the size of the engine in liters. Nice car.

I have the first generation CLK, and the rear side windows do not go down, so there is a "semi" post.
Not a full hardtop (though it looks like one from the outside) but not a substantial full post either.

BTW: I'll ignore the "Honda" comment, because I agree with it. The first generation CLK is a better looking car.
But M-B does make a nice CLK convertible.
If I were Jay Leno, I'd stuff an Avanti body with CLK running gear. That would be a car!

We're getting a little off topic here, but I agree the convertible is nice.

Notice the tag on that DeSoto? Says "BiGgS 055.

I had a young fella call me awhile back to get my notion of what a Stude was worth. A 55 2-dr sedan as it turned out.
I asked him what body style the car was (he'd just said "2-door". I said: "Sedan, coupe or hardtop?" "OH! A hardtop!" says he. "Yeah, it's gotta steel roof to it!" [V]

Further interrogation ferreted out that it was a sedan.[:I]

The only hardtop produced today (that I know of) is the Mercedes. They call it a "Pillarless coupe"
And the new Bentley Continental GT, which is also a true pillarless 2 door hardtop. I have also seen a photo of the upcoming Volkswagen Phaeton 2 door which appears to be pillarless. The windows are closed in the pic, and have no idea if the rear ones go down.

For 1973, GM invented the name, "Colennade Hardtop" for its new A body intermediates that had frameless door glass. Ford chose the oh so very imaginative term, 'pillared hardtop' at the same time for its full-size four door sedans.
