This is a correction to an earlier post. I'm fairly new to the forum so I hope I'm doing this the correct way.
I'm curious about a glass supplier in Georgia who advertises a '51 Champion windshield with a light tint (smoke) and a darker tint strip at the top of the glass. Obviously a modern version, as I don't think that kind of glass was offered originally. The seller is Metro Auto Parts Market, Classic Auto Glass and, based on their phone number, is in the Atlanta area.
Does anyone have any feedback on this seller and whether their windshield glass fits as it should? I'd hate to spend a couple of hundred dollars for a windshield that isn't shaped correctly. Thanks.
