OK Guys, I've been told I may advertise a sale or service once every thirty days. Here goes.

I'm set up to repair bad pivot pins in the C/K deck lid hinges for you. I can and will replace worn pins and sleeve worn holes. So far the ones I've seen are the pins in the vertical member that attaches to the body. I'm not set up to repair impact (wreck) problems or bent details.

Be aware, no hinge, even new ones wont fix a deck lid that has collapsed and bent around the hinge. When the hinge siezes from lack of lubrication, the mounting pad collapses around the hinge, or bends the trunk inner structure just aft of the hinge. This HAS to be straightened to achieve satisfactory deck lid fittment.
9 out of 10 fit problems is because of a bent inner structure. When the hinge is closed there is very little movement of the hinge due to high spring tensions.

Question - "deck lid" to me means the rear deck or trunk lid - Is that what is being discussed here?
