Are the '64 V8 radiators the same as the '65-'66 V8 radiators?

Yes, and the '65 - '66 V-8 Radiators always had transmission cooling plumbing included.

So no coolers before 1965? If say a '64 radiator was recored, any idea if the newer style core could be incorporated.

The Core is the same between the Oil Cooler tube version and the Standard Transmission version, the lower tank just has an in and out fitting and Tube in the Lower tank, if that is what you mean.

Any newer more modern Core types that may become available will fit in your Tanks including a 3 or 4 Row Core, it's ONLY MONEY, lots of it, usually 400 to 500 or more if you get a greedy Radiator Shop!

Yes Oil Coolers were installed on all '63 to '64 Studebakers when the H.D. Flight-O-Matic or Power Shift was ordered, including "Super" Lark/Hawk/Avanti, Taxis, H.D. Sedans, Police Specials, all Trucks etc.

I didn't say no coolers '64 and before. They were specific to heavy duty transmission applications. But all '65 - '66 V-8 radiators had the fittings.

You can use a radiator for a Jeep with a Chevy engine. Aluminum. Generally around $200.00 new.
