On the lighter side, I've heard of a Chevy "Mouse Motor". I recently pulled the oil pan on my 185 block stude 6cyl and found sludge plus the oily remains of 9 or more mice, (no cap on the filler tube) I guess this means I have a Studebaker Mouse Motor. Move over Bow Tie lovers.

Wow...
StuDECONabaker....
But consider this... Being a partial flow system...
Grinding up 'dem bones with the oil pump...
Can't be good for the bearings...
Or, can it?
Inquiring minds want to know....HTIH (Hope The Info Helps)

Crazy, man!
Many years ago, my Dad and I were restoring a 1959 Mercedes Benz sedan. There were a lot of tree spiders where we lived.
One morning, we go out to clean engine parts and found a big, hand-sized, furry tree spider crawling around near the engine block.
My Dad picked up a stick and poked the garage floor in front of the spider, to scare it away. It immediately attacked the stick and crawled back inside the engine block.
Dad dropped the stick, turned to me and said, "Let's come back in an hour or so."
We never saw the spider again. Though, when we finished the engine rebuild a few months later and started it up something blew out the exhaust. We never found out what it was.
The fellow I bought my Studebaker from kept dryer sheets in the interior of the car. He said mice hate dryer sheets.
