I have not been able to find a posting by anyone who has put lap and shoulder seat belts in a 2R5 truck. Does anyone have experience with this?
The bottom connection will be easy to make a bracket for, but I will want a picture of my ID plate before I make it difficult to see. I will have to make a bracket for the top connection. I want it to be between the two braces shown, and those brackets are held only by two spot welds at each end which is not nearly good enough for a seat belt connection. I am thinking of making a bracket that connects to the center hole in each bracket and reinforcing the end connections of those brackets.
Has anyone done anything similar? Thanks.
