Body / Glass: '54 fenders

Hi all,

Will '54 front fenders fit a '55? I know there will be some tweaking due to the different grille, but much ?? Both fenders on the '55 2 door sedan I've just had landed have some rust, the LHS worse than the right, and I can get a NOS '54 pair here.

ive done that swap depends on which windshield you have and the front end grille will not work you have to change the grille its a lot of work

If both cars are the same, that is having a flat windshild and both cars are sedans, yes. C/K fenders won't fit a sedan without a "LOT" of work.

Looks like I'll be cutting the rust out. Not a huge job, but I thought if the others fitted without too much messing around it would an easier path, I guess not.

Matt, I have a 55 4 door sedan the President sedan model with the gold interior trim, it is an early one with the flat windshield also is a V-8 with 4 bld. carb, and auto, mostly rust free but needs to be restored or become a parts car, even has a rear sway bar, my problems with the landlord and them not wanting so called junk cars sitting in the parking lot is pushing it to go away price is $700.00, I know your in Australia but cars are shipped there every day from near me, this is open to any one interested.
