The hoses that go to the defroster unit have a wire mesh looking cover on them. On my 50, these hoses are smaller but these appear to be the same size as the rest of Climatizer related hoses. None of the other hoses have the mesh looking material around them. Can someone suggest why the PO may have done this. I am considering replacing all the Climatizer related hoses on the car and am wondering if someone knows how many feet of hose I should buy for this project as it is difficult to measure it on the car.
