Engine: Oil Pump Body question

Are all the V8 oil pumps bodies the same? I have a rebuilt 1955 oil pump from the speedster. I know the pickup is different but will that pump work on other engines?

No they are not all the same. Yes, They will work on other engines. Trick is using the right p/u screen for the pump your are using.

Stude used 2 different style early pumps from 51 through 54 or 55. I am not privy to information as to when the change was made.
Then they have 2 different late pumps.
