Was checking in with all you awesome experts to see if you knew of any good shops in MN or close that will rebuild Stude engines. Mine is the EconoMiser 169 for my '47 M15. Head gasket leaked in the rear two cylinders ceasing the engine. Have had engine soaking for months and can't break it so it will need to be bored.
Also anybody purchase these kits online or put faith in the re-builder?
What do folks think a ball park figure should be for labor? Assuming boring, balancing crank, rods, redoing valves and assembly, etc. I may disassemble and reassemble myself but want to see what #'s are currently running.
Thanks for the help!
