From what I have seen and been told by others, the stone shields with ridges in it are for 47 to 49 models, and the smooth ones are for 50 & 51's. Is the difference just in the outside finish or was their a difference in the shape of the fender or the way they mounted. Basically what I am asking is, would either stone shield fit on any of these years?
