Body / Glass: Do a drivers door mirror, yea or nay?

Just wondering if it's proper to have a passenger door mirror on a 58 president. Going to order new drivers door and am thinking of mounting one on the passenger door also. Thanks!

What do you mean by "proper"? Is your car a high points show car? Did they ever come from the factory/dealer with RHS mirrrors? My Hawk came stock with one only mirror but survey says if I put one on the pass side door I still won't be able to see anything behind me in it due to the "A" pillar location, not sure if a '58 President would suffer the same issues.

Your choise. If you are a real stickler, look at the factory build sheet, and have accessories that came from the factory. If you are not, then my vote is to have osrv mirrors on 4 door and what most consider "original" cars. Now, if you have a old school car built with a certain theme, such as my old 53, then personally, they look out of place. It won't lose judging points because of the mirror. Again, your choise.
