I replied to a thread awhile back concerning recharging R-12 air conditioners. We tried a direct R-12 replacement called Hot Shot in our old Mack tractors at work, and I was going to give an update after we used them a bit.
It's been about a month now, and they are still working great. This has been the hottest summer we've had in years, and they are sure getting a workout. I just about froze my right leg today, had to close the left vent on the heat/ac box. You Mack drivers know how close it is to your knee.
Anyway, the stuff goes in just like the R-12 did, no converting or changing anything needed.
