Body / Glass: Installing right hand mirror mount on 2R5 pickup

I want to put a right hand mirror on my 2R5 pickup. For the 3 mounting bolts, I will only be able to reach the back side to put a nut on one of them. To get to the other two, I can cut a hole in the side of the glovebox. Is there any other way to get the nuts on and tightened?

They are supposed to be self-threading bolts/screws #1501x24, 1/4" x 5/8". They do not use nuts on the other end.

I wondered about the fasteners. The drivers side is bolted on which is why I was leaning that way. I'll get the self-threading.
