  • Body / Glass: 1959-61 front clip onto a 1962 Lark?

Long story short: I don't care for the quad headlights on my 1962 Lark (they look better on a 1963 IMHO) and would like to fit a single headlight front header panel or maybe a full front clip from a 1961 or older Lark.

I'm in no big hurry (just got the car mobile but still need to do an exhaust, front end/brakes, etc. before I insure it).

To do it the easy way, you can put a '61 front panel directly onto a '62 front clip. They share the same front fenders (Not counting trim location) same windshields, front doors, firewalls, ect. The hoods are the same dimensions, and the bumpers are basically the same as well. SASCO used to have NOS '61 single Deluxe style front panels in stock, dunno if they survived.

What Bob is saying is that the '59-'60 does not work. Different depth of front panel, different cowl shape.
