  • Engine: Vac Advance Part #

I need a vac advance for V8 presto distributor. Or aftermarket part #Like from Echlin, Belden or similar. SI has them, but 115.00 is a bit salty. I had a pile of those distributors, but....... If some one has a used one let me know.

Kim: I cannot find a listing among the three period "old-car" parts catalogs I've kept from back when.

However, these things can be rebuilt / repaired, and someone is doing them; not a Studebaker-specific vendor. Do some internet research and see if you can come up with a shop that does them, because I do believe it can be, and is being, done. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

    G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.

THIS ENTIRE TREAD HAS NOW BEEN MOVED FROM THE "GENERAL DISCUSSION FORUM" TO THE "TECHNCAL FORUM."

My comments no longer apply as the Moderators have switched the intent of the OP's Tread, therefore, they have been deleted!!!
