  • Cool/Heat: Water neck replacement part

I am replacing the coolant expansion tank on my Avanti.

The Studebaker water neck I have has a water outlet that is 90 deg. (horizontal water flow). This neck causes the outlet hose to rub the power steering pump.

What I need is a neck that is at 45 deg. +/- to get the hose above the pump reservoir. Does a Chevy or Chrysler water neck fit the Studebaker mounting hole pattern? Any Suggestions?

    Thanks

Chevrolets have the same size and bolt pattern and come in many angles, but the Housings have no recess for the Thermostat, if the Avanti Water Manifold has a recess, one of those may work. Lark/Hawk Manifolds do not, they require a Studebaker Water Outlet.

The Avanti has a recess for the thermostat so I will give the Chevy housing a try.

      Many thanks.
