Anyone know where I can get a heater control valve for a 63 Avanti? The one Studebaker inter. has to modified severly and then it only works part time. I sure appreciate the help I get from these forums

If you still have the old one, there is a guy who advertises on ebay that offers rebuilds. Go to ebay's vintage accessories for cars, type in "heater control valve", then sift thru till you find him. I believe he was in Wisconsin. I sent him the HC valve from a 62 GT. He returned it in a couple of weeks looking and performing as new. IIRC it cost about $80, which is a little less than SI charges.
