How can you tell the difference between the early series and second series front fenders? A friend has a pair of NOS fenders that he traded for, thinking they were C/K fenders, but found out they aren't. I have a 2nd series sedan & could use the fenders, but don't know how to tell them apart.

The top back corner of the 1st series fenders points back, the second series doesn't.

I do'nt know from experiance,but maybe you can re-work the upper rear corner to fit the rounded shape you need.I certainly would consider it and make use of some n.o.s. fenders instead of passing on them !
