Hood safety catch needed...53-54 C/K

Somehow, I ended up with the wrong safety catch for the Ute. The one I have is nicely cad plated now [V] but must be from a later car or a sedan.

The one I need is '53 54 C/K only and is the part that Dave Lester keeps knocking his noggin on.

Latch, pin and spring.

Dick, good news. I thought I had one on a spare '53 C-K hood, so I went to look...
Bad news. It isn't on the hood.
Good news. My stock records show that I have two NOS catches only (no pin or spring). The '51-'54 Chassis Parts Catalog show that catch as being used on all '51s through '54s.
Bad news. I'm leaving in the morning for 11 days. How quickly do you need one?

Paul...I'll order the latch and spring from Stelfords. I found a pin that will work. Thanks for looking and for your offer, however. I hope you are going on vacation for the 11 days .
