  • Cool/Heat: Waterways...

I just saw a film on youtube, some guys who started a V8 on a stand had put a garden hose into the top of the engine/the pipe that goes to the top of the radiator & there was just a little water coming out from the pipe that connects to the bottom of the radiator...
& when I'm googeling the subject I only find water circulation diagrams that shows the water entering the engine from the bottom pipe.
Any experianced ideas about that here?

If the thermostat is installed and working. I would think very little water would get by.

The water would enter the engine from the bottom hose as that is where it is coolest.

The "Pipe" at the bottom is the Inlet to the Water Pump through the water manifold and then into the Block.
The Thermostat Housing is also called the Water Outlet for a reason, that is where it leaves to be cooled by the Radiator.
