Does anyone know if Brook Motors in Mishawaka In. was on Lincolnway or McKinley Aves. I've been told both but always thought it was McKinley.

Thanks, that's what I thought but there is another building on Lincolnway with concrete Stude wheel logos but I was told someone got those from another Stude building and put them on there.

No, that building is the real deal and I know where there are period photos of it. After Studebaker, I know it was an AMC dealership for a time. Their car lot was in what is now the big parking lot on the other side of Lincolnway. I think Mike Lenyo mentioned buying a car there once.

I also have a 1963 photo of Brook Motors if you're interested, Tim. I'll show it to you next time I see you.

              Bob,

That's not Brook Motors. The dealership building on your page is the building which is on Lincolnway in Mishawaka, but I'm not sure of the name of it. Do you have a copy of Studebaker's "Uniform identity program" book? (1963) There is a photo and an oil painting of it on page 10.

Photos of the two dealer buildings mentioned. I believe they should be self explanatory.

My vertical neon Stude sign is a little different than the one in the Brook Motor picture so I guess the mystery continues as to which local dealership it's off of.

The Brook Motors bldg is still there. It's been an auto repair shop for as long as I can remember.

*The photo/painting is too large for me to scan, so this is just part of it.
