WOW! That car is beautiful! I love that color, and can already see the wood on it. A perfect match.

For those of you who may not know, that photograph was taken in the "showroom" of new SDC President Tom Curtis in Elkhart IN. BP

I believe that I remember an article about it in a not too distant past Turning Wheels.

Perhaps it's Black Cherry. Whatever it is...it looks great!

The paint is just dark Maroon, the cars original color. I guess the car is coming together right on time and it should be done in time for the Intl. meet. For the time being, some parts for it are being finished up and aren't quite ready to be put on the car yet. For the time being, the main part of car just needed a home so that's why it's at Tom's. This photo gives it no justice, this car is BEUTIFUL.

I really hope that this car is done by the time the International meet rolls around.

At least I'll have the proper attire.

To show just how far this car has come along, here's an original piece of wood from it. I believe it came from the section in the rear quarter below the windows.

I just thought of the perfect place to unveil the fully-restored car to the public... In the proving grounds woods from whence it came!
