  • 64 Daytona Body Supports

    Hi all.

I have a question about the gauge of steel that was used in the 6 body supports that the lark has. We are thinking about making our own. I know that classic enterprises has them but by the time we get them up here in Canada they're really expensive. We were thinking that 16 gauge is what should be used. Any thoughts. What gauge is classic using? I thought I heard somewhere they they use a stronger gauge than the orginal.

    Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help and I wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

I just measured mine and they were .068-.070" Looks like 14 gauge to me.

Thanks for checking! Are those the original supports or are they repro?

          Steve,
I may have a complete set of these, new from CE that I'd let go for 1/2 the cost of CE. Let me know what year your LARK is and if your intrested.
