    Estate Sale score Model Car

I go sometimes with my wife to estate sales. Not very often. Yesterday, I went because there was one real close by. I haven't built any models in a while. But, I got one yesterday I am gonna build.. I bought a Monogram "Big Drag" 1/8 kit. If you know models,, you'll know this is a real treasure.

What I liked about them is the 1/8 scale. That made them big enough to see the detail setting on the shelf.

    Nice!

At one point I had a 1/8" General Lee from MPC, unbuilt. Someone stole it from my basement

I built one of those for my sister. Seems like she was going to give it to a friend as a gift. It was red as I remember and called "the big T". Must have been special editions of the model. It was cool to build. I was maybe 12 or 13.

the Big T was the kit that got the Monogram 1/8 series rolling...I think.
