My long time friend, Pete Gutschneider, died on May 27, 2019. Pete was 78 years old. He had at least two Studebakers, the most recent being a 1960 Lark VIII convertible. Pete was a member of SDC until sometime after he sold the Lark. ISTR that he also participated in this Forum for a period of time. Pete lived most of his life in this area, Wappingers Falls and Hopewell Junction (NY), until he retired to Holly Springs, NC. Pete and I last communicated on May 19th and the strange part is that it was relative to the death of a long time friend of ours that was in Pete's high school class. I knew both of them since the 1950s.
