  • South Bend Struck By Tornado

This evening. Reports are that 4H Fairgrounds was ground zero. 'Don't know where that is in relation to the museum or other Studebaker items of interest.

From an Oklahoma perspective, it's hard to believe no warning sirens are sounding.

The museum is 3 to 4 miles South East of the fair grounds.

I think you've got the directions turned around Jim. The museum is about 3 to 4 miles northwest of the fairgrounds. Can anyone keep us posted on the damage done to the fairgrounds? Thanks, Bill.

Other way around! The fairgrounds are about 4 miles south east of the museum. I'll have to give Digger Dave a call this morning. He and Tom Karkiewicz would have been fairly close to this.

Tom is about 5 miles West of the fair grounds. I live about 3 miles north of Tom. Didn't get much wind or rain.
