      Indeed a tough competitive man with courage of conviction.

      He should be famous for the time he pulled out of the Japanese GP because of dangerous rain conditions, giving up his chance to win another world title. ....if not for his near miraculous recovery from the burns.

        The Lauda story is told, without too much hoopla, in the movie RUSH. To me, he's the F1 equivalent of AJ Foyt.

        Driven to win, immensely talented, and tougher than Superman.

            Niki Lauda also gave money and help when James Hunt was down and out. Niki was a class act.
