This is a my 1957 Hawk that was originally my grandfathers. While he owned it I worked on this with my father at the family owned body shop in Wisconsin while I was in Highschool. I take no credit for the work other than getting to so the grunt work and taking parts off, sandblasting and priming and prepping some of the parts My dad did the bulk of the work for the frame off restoration back in the early 90's. It then sat unfinished from about 1993 until my grandfather passed away. I brought the car to Nashville, TN around 2012 and started the restomod process with a shop here. The idea was to keep it looking original on the outside but make it something I could hop in and drive with my young boys. Not enough time in the day to tinker with an original and keep up with all of the activities my kids are in. It is a lot of fun to drive and hope you enjoy the pictures. I have many pics of the car from the beginning to the end of the restoration.

Kerry, that's a good looking Hawk! Thanks for posting the pics.
By the way, the NC Chapter is having our big fall Tri-State Meet on Sept 14-15 in Maggie Valley NC. Since you are in the middle of TN, it might be a bit of a drive for you, but consider attending. Here is the NCSDC Facebook site with info: https://www.facebook.com/NCSDC
We would love to have you and your family attend!
