All four turn signals are dim on '65 Cruiser. Brake lights are bright. Just replaced brake light switch. Turn signals were dim before replacing the brake light switch. Is/are there specific grounding point(s) to check for the turn signals? Or any other advice? Thanks

The rear turn signals use the same filament in the same bulb as the brake lights. When BOTH a turn signal AND the brakes are on, the brake light on the side with the flashing turn signal needs to be turned off. In order to do this, there is a relatively complicated switch at the turn signal lever under the steering wheel. My guess is the contacts in this switch are dirty.
It is a PITA to remove and replace.Dick Steinkamp

The switch is turning off the brake light on the side when the turn signal is on. Have replaced turn signal switches in other Studes and the turn/brake light wiring assembly. As recommended, will get some of the cleaner and remove and clean the turn signal assembly. Thanks
