I have a 50 Commander with 6 cylinder. Just replaced carb with original and noticed 1/4 inch line about a foot long coming from intake manifold. Not connected to anything. What is it and where does it go? New to Studebaker's and trying to get running.

From manifold. it's probably wiper motor supply ? I think vacuum advance would be on carb. -
The Commander 6 Had a drain with a check valve on the bottom that drained accumulated gas or liqiud from the manifold.
It is 1/8" copper tubing and I do not know what model years that was used.
I stock these if you need one.
