    That looks like it has has hot water system on the bottom ,that's new and a nice feature!

        FWIW, anyone buying it absolutely, positively shouldn't pay the extra $100 for the 3-bolt Ford 2-bbl adapters. The two 1-bbl Stude carbs are all that's needed.

            I used to wonder about that years ago when I had a Lark. I believe it is only because the hoods are lower on the later cars. The manifold will fit the later block.

                Not necessarily. It replaces the exhaust heat on the OEM iron intake; only necessary in cold/humid climes.

                  Possibly because it is drilled for the earlier carburetors. The 53 and later carburetors have a port for exhaust gas.
