Steering: Wild Steering Wheel Oscilation!

Got the Wagonaire running and connected the power steering pump.
When I started her up and just touched the steering wheel, it went crazy! Started whipping left to right and back again. Good thing I didn't have my hand in the steering wheel!
I believe I must have installed a hose wrong, could it be the small hoses on the power ram?
Help with diagram of hose positions would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, if you get the left and right turn hoses installed incorrectly it will do exactly that. Switch them at the power cylinder and you should be fine.

That exact same thing happened to me many years ago when I replaced the control valve to ram PS hoses on a 1970's Ford Granada.

Me too with a early 70's Corvette! Many years ago.
