  • Brakes: Yet another ebrake question 62 GT

    Close to finishing up the re-installation of my front brake cable, but. . .

    In the Chassis parts catalog plate 11-23, it shows what looks like a spring, part # 1110-39. (If part #1546335 in the SI catalog is it, I'm in luck, I ordered one.)

    I remember a hole where it would attach on the pivot arm. But does the other end of it just hook loosely around the rear brake cable? Seems like it could fall off quite easily if it does. Maybe that's why this spring was not present on my car when I went under it to disconnect the front cable?

    Doesn't it go from the Lever to a hole in the Frame? That is how I remember it.

      61 Chassis book shows it going from lever to r/s cable. Luck Doofus
