  • Body / Glass: Mount hub for '55 Wire cover

Looking for a mounting hub for a '55 wire cover or a lonely cover complete.

If you are coming to the South Bend meet this week , you can look thru
my pile of wire wheel covers , on the way to South Bend.
I am at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Interstate 55.
!00 miles from the fairgrounds in South Bend.
I plan on going to SB this Thursday and come back that evening.
I will go to my warehouse if someone calls me that they plan to stop on Friday thru Tuesday.
Call me at 815 212 2389 (cell) if you plan to visit.
I have a 38.000 sq/ft warehouse full of Studebaker parts.
I can bring some small items to S.Bend on Thursday and will have my cell phone.

      Robert,
Wish I were able to visit Indiana this week for a variety of reasons. Restoring a Speedster and a '55 Champion "K" and need a few odds and ends. I'll give you a call with my wish list.

Merlin, do either of these look like what you are needing?

Be careful when purchasing Speedster wire wheel cover mounting baskets....Those covers were used on other makes, and although the wheel bolt patterns may be the same, the baskets themselves can have differing 'depths'!

Yes !!! The one on the left. Rebuilding a '55 Speedster and a '55 Champion "K". Have 8 wire covers and 7 mounting hubs. I could get in trouble on depth when I add right wheels for Turner Disc conversion.
