Does the judging manual not exclude fan belts?

I have an original Studebaker branded belt on our '63 Daytona, got it at SASCO some years ago. It is quite a conversation piece at shows. There should be non cogged major brand belts out there as well, just need to check around. Check Gates, Goodyear etc. Dayco if I remember right is cogged.Frank van Doorn

Where in the judge book does it mention cogged belts? http://www.aaca.org/images/meet_broc...Guidelines.pdf
Did they really deduct for this? At what show? I am taking my car to the Grand National and don't want to loose 5, but don't want to change the belts either!Matthew Wendt

hoses and clamps may be of modern
manufacture, but must be visually of
the era of the vehicle and of the type
specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
Specific brand is not important.
Still looking for a belt.Last edited by blackhawk61; 04-18-2016, 12:31 PM.1961 Hawk ...4-Speed;4bc;Twin Traction

Ken, I checked my original belts, and do have a 1546085 which is listed as Belt, compressor and fan drive for 60V and 61V. This would most likely be too long unless you have air conditioning.
Also found that I had a 518067 belt for '47 thru '50 Commander, and also two Avanti supercharger belts p/n 1555319.
