Clutch / Torque Converter: Clutch pedal return SPRING - 1950 2R5 truck - need NOS part or specs

I am in need of a clutch return spring 674083 for my 1950 2R5 (3 speed w/OD) - or information on another spring that would fit and function

The one I have installed now is non-Studebaker replacement and my clutch pedalnever returns completely and has about 1 1/2 inches of free play prior to feeling pressure of any kind - so apparently the spring I have on there now is too long. I would love to find NOS, but really want to any heavy duty spring in hand before I take the current one off.

I know that my current one is elongated in order to be installed therefore I do not know which length might work from a non-Studebaker brand. Perhaps a tractor supply or even from Studebaker cars.

btw....I am aware of the dime/washer installation trick for the spring - thanks ya'll

Dime Washer? Explain.. There's a guy probably close to you that's selling parts.

go o the hardware store and find one stiffer than what you have now......
