Easy cure for an old problem

Studebaker hood coming up.....Especially C-K models
Drill 3/16 hole in hood latch pin.3/16 lynch pins available at Tractor Supply(and probably other places too) $1.23 for 2....Easy to reach under bumper to install and remove.Good insurance !

The bolt on the right doesnt seem to be completely tightened as the split lock washer is not flattened.
