  • Body / Glass: Help Removing Stainless A pillar outer trim on 62 Hawk

We are in the steps of removing A pillar trim on our 62 GT Hawk in preparation for painting.
What is the process for removing the A pillar trim. Is it held on by clips and if so how does one gain release?
    Thanks, Bill McLin

You have to remove the windshield to remove the trim . The windshield gasket holds the trim in place. If you try and get it off without removing the windshield the trim ( and gasket) will be ruined.
So obvious installation is ..... gasket on window..... trim into gasket....... sealer on flange...... window into car The window in/out is not a difficult task..
