Hello, I bought a used 259 and noticed theirs no timing tab down by the lower pulley. Does anyone have a pic of that so I can see what's supposed to be there. Thanks

The pointed thing at the top of the pic is the timing tab/pointer for a 259 Studebaker V8.

That just means that you have to clean off the Vibration Damper to see the UDC and the IGN Mark that should line up with the Pointer on the Timing Cover when your Timing Light fires.StudeRich

Thanks for the input everyone. The pointer I see in the pic is what I am missing, that's why I was confused. Was thinking it was a tab or something like that . Can you purchase one of these anywhere? Thankssigpic 1948 M-5 Modified, Dennis Wilson, Algona Iowa
