  • 1948 Landcruiser

I am in the process of putting the final touches on my "LandCruiser"

Does anybody know if I can find a modern Stereo that will fit in the original mount in dash???[?]

Don't believe so. If you've already converted to twelve volt you may want to leave the original in place for appearance and put a modern stereo in the glovebox. Or you could send the original to a shop and have the guts removed and converted to AM/FM in either six or twelve volts. Addition of a cassette or CD player would be another issue.

There are a number of shops that do this but, I think, the cost is in excess of $400.

Unit in the glovebox sounds good.
