    Hey Peter look for an alignment shop that has been there a while. you can take along your service manual to help. Studes dont use shims just elbow grease and knowledge. my last 2 alignments were done by a freckle faced youth who had no trouble as i brought my service manual along and we looked at it together and checked the car over to get everything clear in his mind. now he's a friend i visit with from time to time. 2 alignments $80 smackers and lunch! Doofus

      The fact that he was willing to read the manual means that he will likely be a good alignment tech. It's the ones who already know too much to bother reading the manual that you have to watch out for.
