Rear Axle: need resource for rear axle 1949 2R5 1/2 ton-help

Driver-side rear axle bent, need to replace or would appreciate any ideas on repairing the current one. I have been told that axles from 1/2 tons from 1949-51 would fit if a 4.82 gear ratio, any one know for sure if this is true? Current axle spicer model 41-2, 4.82 gear ratio 10 spline.

I will check with my older brother, but pretty sure he threw the OEM rear end from his 49 into a holler when he replaced it with a Ford 9". He is pretty good at hoarding though, so will check with him.
