Is the correct lighter knob for a 64 Wagonaire Daytona white or chrome ?

  • #2
The correct ones have a short Knob and are Stainless Steel.

Does it sort of match the radio knobs with the grooves etc. ? I replaced the whole lighter assy. and the chrome knob that came with it doesn't really look bad, I just thought I would put the correct one in if not too hard to find.

NO, it is Metal and looks like a drawer Knob.

Here you go NOS Original on the Left, aftermarket new replacement on the right.
The new one has small serrations around the edge hardly noticeable.

I don't think they are stainless as they do rust. I actually have seen them in the help section of
O'Reiley's Auto Parts. While not exact, it's pretty close.

Ok thank you, guys. The one that came on the new lighter is close enough for government work then !
