Is it the plain-jane one with only 2 spokes? If so, then one from an R-series truck should work. I think the difference between the car and truck versions is just the grooves which decorate the spokes. That is what I did on my '41 Commander.

I've got a two-spoke steering wheel from my 1950 Champion Deluxe. It's in storage and I would need to check it's condition for you. I checked eBay and didn't see anything for this vintage and I believe the shaft was changed sometime in the 1950's. You can repair most cracks with epoxy and a little patience. Even complete restore a steering wheel with a lot more patience. Let me know if you have any interest and I'll send a photo.
