  • Body: Windshield Leak

We recently discovered that water leaks around the old windshield rubber and lets water inside the car. Since we are taking the car to Rock Rapids Iowa for Heritage Days, meeting Lou Van Anne's family (and it will probably rain), I would like to have a temporary way of preventing water from getting in the car while also not looking so bad that people would notice. I was wondering if smearing vaseline on the rubber would provide a temporary water barrier.

Does anyone have a better solution?

The windshield needs to be replaced, so we're looking for a fix to just last the weekend, while still not hurting paint.
