Has anyone found a place to buy the plastic hawk that was used inside the horn button on the 64 GT, or has anyone found the best way to paint the hawk to its original gold appearance? Thanks.

Pretty hard to replicate that shiny fake gold. I would suggest you might go to a craft store such as Michaels and see what might work good enough for ya. cheers jimmijimsigpicAnything worth doing deserves your best shot. Do it right the first time. When you're done you will know it. { I'm just the guy who thinks he knows everything, my buddy is the guy who knows everything.} cheers jimmijim*****SDC***** member

There are lots of custom services out there that do small-part plastic replating. Here's one in California: http://www.mmmetalizing.com/services.html
Just Google "plastic vacuum metalizing" and you'll find a raft of them. Prolly not cheap, but...!
